Russian troops attacked settlements in Poltava, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts on the night of 31 October – 1 November.

Quote: “The enemy fired on 118 settlements in 10 oblasts during the past day. This is a record number of towns and villages that have come under attack [in one day – ed.] since the beginning of the year.
The occupiers launched large-scale attacks on the territory of Ukraine at night, killing and injuring people.”
Details: Poltava Oblast: The Russian military attacked an oil refinery in Kremenchuk at around midnight. Almost 100 firefighters have been extinguishing the fire for several hours. A robot was involved. There were no casualties.
Kharkiv Oblast: The Russians attacked Kupiansk District in the evening. One person was killed and another was injured in the village of Petropavlivka.
Donetsk Oblast: One person was killed as a result of an attack on the village of Pivdenne.
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: The Russians shelled Nikopol District three times. The city of Nikopol as well as the villages of Illinka and Marivka came under fire.
Kherson Oblast: Russian forces were attacking the oblast throughout the night. They struck the village of Charivne in Beryslav District and the city of Beryslav in the evening. Two people were injured. The village of Chaikyne in Kherson District came under fire, and one person was killed there. The Russian military fired on Beryslav District again after midnight. In addition, they conducted eight airstrikes on the villages of Krynky and Lvove.
Mykolaiv Oblast: Russian forces shelled the city of Ochakiv at midnight. Two private residential buildings were damaged.
